The southernmost beaches of the Costa Blanca are
those of the municipality of Orihuela. This has about 15 km of predominantly rocky coastline, dotted with little
silver sand beaches. In the playa Orihuela the sand is unbelievably fine, similar to that which would be found
in an hour glass - or the Sahara desert. These beaches have made the surrounding areas popular and property in the urbanisations named
after them is quite sought after. The area includes La Zenia, Carbo Roig and Campoamor.
